Hi, I'm Daisy, the original Local Dog who knows all the best spots! I'm part of the Local Dog family, alongside the founder Elizabeth Waters. Elizabeth grew up in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, near Charleston, with the town's waterways and local hangouts close to her heart. With over ten years of experience in apparel and promotional sales, she developed a keen eye for soft fabrics, essential accessories, and bold graphics. In 2010, she combined her passions and expertise to create Local Dog, a brand dedicated to celebrating hometown favorites in casual comfort.
Meet the New Owner!
Julie Walker, also known as "MrsDadbodVeteran," is a proud U.S. military veteran and the loving owner of three rescue dogs-Daisy, Leo, and Doodles. Having called the Charleston area home for twenty years, she's thrilled to lead a women and veteran-owned business! Inspired by Elizabeth's expertise in soft fabrics and vibrant graphics, Julie plans to grow the brand by adding more graphic designs that highlight favorite hometown hangouts across the U.S. This way, everyone can celebrate their beloved local spots in both style and comfort.

Our favorite memoires are made while exploring the landscape, soaking up the sun, and enjoying time with the people and dogs we love.
